Mario Pegoli

Mario is a member of Cowell Clarke’s Corporate & Commercial Team and has experience advising on acquisitions, divestments, restructures, and reviews of strategic assets.

Mario previously worked for a leading asset management firm in London, gaining global commercial capital market experience. He has experience in origination and syndication of investment grade and sub-investment grade international transactions, including complex capital structure refinancing. 

With a degree in Law, Business Banking & Finance, MBA and Master of Laws and experience working for a leading asset management firm in London, Mario understands the importance of a Company reviewing its business strategy and capital structure. Mario has developed a keen interest in understanding the opportunity that restructuring can provide and an appreciation on how different funding structures appeal to different types of investors.

Working with world-leading investment banks, Mario was involved with some of the most significant and complex transactions, including the $33 billion HCA transaction and the £8.97 billion BAA airport transaction. This demonstrates his ability to balance financial and non-financial risks and manage complex negotiations.
