Sam Richardson is a special counsel in Cowell Clarke’s Property practice group. He is known for his pragmatic and commercially orientated approach. This ensures his clients not only receive timely and appropriate legal advice, but also with a practical and strategic focus.
Sam has a wealth of experience advising clients on all property areas. Sam regularly advises landlords and tenants on complex lease negotiations.
On the transactional side, Sam acts for a broad range of clients including private, public and institutional clients on sales and acquisitions of office, retail and industrial properties. Sam also acts for developers on large scale residential and mixed use developments and has particular expertise advising on the property side of agribusiness sales and acquisitions.
Sam is an active member of the Property Council of Australia (PCA) and the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA). Sam has been a committee member of the PCA for many years and currently sits on the UDIA community housing committee. An advocate of balanced lifestyle, Sam is actively involved in a number of extra-curricular and sporting pursuits. Sam was recognised by Best Lawyers in Australia in 2017 and 2018 for Leasing Law.
