Supporting: The Zahra Foundation
The Zahra Foundation supports women affected by domestic and family violence and is co-located within the Women’s Safety Services SA, the largest specialist domestic violence service in SA, and maintains a close connection to the South Australian domestic violence sector.
We were delighted by the number of donations received from our sponsors and held a Lucky Dip Prize for guests with all funds raised going to the Zahra Foundation. Our guests enjoyed the opportunity to network while supporting a worthy cause.
Michelle Pearson of Comfort Food Cabaret entertained our guests with a fantastic cabaret performance cooking some brownies ever so quickly!
Our guest speaker Arman Abrahimzadeh (Zahra's son) from Zahra Foundation moved everyone with his experiences and explaining the purpose and work the Foundation does for women and children.
Overall it was a very successful event and we look forward to hosting our next one in 2019!.
