Natalie Abela is a director in Cowell Clarke’s Dispute Resolution practice group. Natalie is astute and driven to achieve commercial outcomes for her clients.
Natalie practices predominantly in commercial litigation, with specialist expertise across corporate and personal insolvency, business and contract dispute resolution, probate and estate dispute resolution and defamation law. She supports large and small scale litigation for national and international clients.
Natalie joined Cowell Clarke in 2000. Having had significant experience in complex litigious matters, Natalie also has a focus on alternative dispute resolution as an adjunct and alternative to legal proceedings.
Natalie has served on the Law Society Council and on a Law Society Sub-Committee. She is also an active member of ARITA (The Australian Restructuring and Insolvency and Turnaround Association) and its counterpart, IWIRC. Natalie has presented at various conferences both in South Australia and nationally and is often asked to present in-house to clients. Natalie recently received recognition for providing excellent content as a "Legal Influencer" in the Private Client - Australasia sector with Lexology.
