Audrey Amour is a senior associate in Cowell Clarke’s Financial Services practice group. Specialising in banking, payment systems and financial services regulation, Audrey advises traditional and non-traditional financial services clients and other providers impacted by financial regulation. She has advised domestic and foreign clients on acquiring licences or regulatory relief/exemptions under banking and financial services regimes.
Audrey also focuses on general compliance advice as well as the provision of expert guidance in relation to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing management, privacy (credit related information) management and acquisition or disposal of regulated businesses.
Audrey joined Cowell Clarke in 2017 and is admitted as a solicitor to the High Court of Australia and the Australian Capital Territory. Audrey has been the recipient of The John Perry Prize for Public International Law, the Dean’s Certificate in Public International Law and the Dean’s Certificate in Human Rights at the University of Adelaide.
