Anna Lacey is a senior associate in Cowell Clarke’s Commercial Transactions and Corporate practice groups. Anna enjoys establishing relationships with clients and gaining an insight into the operation of their businesses to achieve a desirable solution.
Practising in commercial and corporate law, Anna’s primary areas of expertise are corporate acquisitions, business sales and acquisitions, the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (Cth) and contract and tender reviews. She also supports ASX listed companies with corporate governance and compliance advice in relation to the acquisition of assets for companies in Australia and internationally. Anna has a particular interest in the aged care and retirement village sectors, providing advice to clients on regulatory compliance in both transactional and non-transactional contexts.
Having firsthand experience through family business operations, Anna has a unique understanding of the food and agribusiness sector and can assist with shaping the legal framework for new business ventures and established businesses operating on a larger scale.
Anna joined Cowell Clarke in 2011. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys spending time with her young family and continues to be an active member of the Swish Netball Club.
