Natalie Abela is a Senior Associate practising predominantly in the Commercial Litigation Section of the firm. She has been with Cowell Clarke for the entirety of her professional career.
Natalie has expertise and specialises in the following practise areas:
- Corporate and Personal Insolvency
- Business and Contract Dispute Resolution
- Probate and Estate Dispute Resolution
She has given advice in relation to insolvency and probate matters to a wide range of clients including medium and large sized accounting firms.
In recent times she has liaised extensively with the Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Board and Local Councils on various matters relating to petroleum licensing and land development for large scale clients.
Other areas she has experience in have involved the Human Rights and Equal Opportunities Commission and the Magistrates Court Criminal Jurisdiction.
Natalie also has a keen interest and plays an active role in assisting Managing Partner, Carolyn Mitchell, in the Graduate Recruitment and Clerkship Programme offered at Cowell Clarke.
Natalie is a member of the Law Society of South Australia and the Women Lawyers’ Association (SA) Inc.
