Sam co-ordinates the Industrial / Employment Law practice at Cowell Clarke. He is also part of the Commercial Litigation team.
Sam joined our firm in January 2003 after practicing for 5 years in Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia.
Over the course of his professional career Sam has developed experience in many of the particular areas of commercial and general litigation including both personal and corporate insolvency; acting both for and against insurance companies in policy claims and personal injury actions; advising associations on constitutional issues; representing both applicants and objectors in Liquor Licensing and Council applications; representing lessors and lessees in a range of lease disputes; appearing on behalf of both employees and employees in Unfair Dismissal/ Non-Payment of Wage applications in the Industrial Relations Commission and Court; and advising employers on the operation of Industrial Awards.
