The partner heading the general commercial litigation section of the firm and managing partner, Carolyn specialises in the areas of trade practices and antitrust law, business and contract dispute resolutions and corporate and personal insolvency.
Carolyn has acted for a number of major Australian and multinational corporations in trade practices/antitrust prosecutions. She also receives instructions from virtually all of the accounting firm liquidators, receivers and other insolvency practitioners in Adelaide.
Since the commencement of the National Electricity Market in SA Carolyn has acted for a substantial number of large energy users in various industries including wine, heavy industry, automotive and rural businesses.
Carolyn regularly conducts training sessions for the firm's clients in the areas of insolvency and trade practices/antitrust.
Carolyn is a graduate of the AICD Company Director's Course and is currently Chair of The Big Book Club Inc., Chairperson of Brink Productions Ltd. and a Director of Powerstate Credit Union Ltd.
She is a member of the Law Council of Australia, the Law Society of South Australia and the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia.
Carolyn is the mother of two young boys. Carolyn promotes a family friendly workplace at Cowell Clarke where everyone can enjoy challenging and satisfying work against the backdrop of a balanced life.
