Joanne practices in commercial dispute resolution with specialist expertise in engineering and infrastructure projects throughout Australia. She provides legal and strategic advice in 'front end' contract negotiation and documentation, a practice she has developed out of extensive experience working with principals and major contractors in resolving complex engineering and construction disputes.

Joanne's commercial disputes practice covers all aspects of the Trade Practices Act and contract law, and includes arbitration, alternative resolution and general commercial litigation.

Her expertise from an industry perspective covers the defence, rail, construction & infrastructure and energy sectors.

Joanne is a LEADR accredited mediator and is on the Supreme Court of South Australia's Panel of Mediators. Joanne is Chairman of The Law Society of South Australia's ADR Committee and a member of the Law Council's ADR Committee.

Joanne is in her third term as a Board Member of the Adelaide Festival Centre Trust and is in her first term at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
