ALFA International - the Global Legal Network

ALFA International is one of the oldest and largest legal networks. It commenced as the American Law Firm Association in the early 1980's and has since expanded globally.  ALFA International is an association of independent law firms.  ALFA International's basic objective, through its member firms, is to improve the quality and efficiency of legal services and to provide those services to clients at a reasonable cost.

ALFA International member firms represent domestic and foreign clients in manufacturing, service, financial and professional enterprises throughout the USA, Australia, Europe, South America, South East Asia and South Africa.

Membership in ALFA International is based upon peer evaluation of a candidate law firm. Membership is extended by invitation to firms which can demonstrate their ability to provide quality legal services on time and economically.

ALFA International members cooperate to provide cost effective services to clients. For example, each ALFA International firm makes available to other member firms and their clients, as needed, research and other non-confidential resource materials. As a result, ALFA International firms have the ability to share and re-use information and professional experience which can result in significant cost savings and tactical advantages to clients.

A unique strength of ALFA International is the close personal relationship and trust existing among the member firms. ALFA International's clients benefit from the collective experience of all of ALFA International's 8,000 plus lawyers.

ALFA International firm lawyers are engaged by business executives, corporate general counsel, risk and claims managers, and entrepreneurs engaged in businesses of all sizes, including many of the Fortune 500 companies.
