Catherine’s passion in the area of employment has seen her work both in employment law and industrial relations as a lawyer and in the human resources sector as an adviser.
Catherine’s work in employment law includes advising businesses on a broad range of workplace issues and providing support and assistance to businesses in the Fair Work Commission and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia in unfair dismissal claims, general protections claims and claims for breach of contract. Catherine has experience conducting detailed audit reviews and recommendations for compliance under Australian employment legislation and standards. Catherine also has practical experience in recruitment, retention, developing employment contracts, award interpretation and termination.
Catherine joined Cowell Clarke in 2019, after moving from Western Australia.
